DROP-IN PLAY AT SPARK BY BROOKLYN CHILDREN’S MUSEUM, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo.
Spark by Brooklyn Children’s Museum is BCM’s new art and play space located in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Designed for children ages six months to six years, Spark features an outpost of the museum’s popular Brooklyn Block Lab exhibit, as well as daily art and design workshops, music classes, and more. Drop-in space is limited. Reserve your play slot online. Open for drop-in play Tuesday – Sunday.
PUPPET SINGALONG WITH YELLOW SNEAKER AT SIR D’S LOUNGE, Park Slope.
Come out for a new puppet singalong in Park Slope! Yellow Sneaker creates original shows and music with the aim of connecting with audiences and creating a sense of community. Thursdays at 10:30 AM.
ROMP & RELAX AT TOT TOWN, Crown Heights.
Romp & Relax drop-in play affords caregivers the opportunity to relax with free WI-FI while your little ones romp around this fun, warm, and cozy play space studio. Drop-in for Romp & Relax open play seven days a week.
FUN WITH FOOD AT JILL LINDSEY, Fort Greene.
In Fun With Food, ages two and up will learn to prepare some of their favorite and most nutritious snacks. Kids get up close and personal with each ingredient and develop an understanding of what goes in to (literally) their goodies. We encourage responsible eating habits, a love for food and fine motor skills. Thursdays at 11 AM.
DRUMALONG SINGALONG WITH IVAN AT CULTURE, Park Slope.
Ivan has become a Park Slope favorite with children for the past eight years. His drum-based sing-along is all about getting the kids moving to rhythms from around the world with an emphasis on one of Ivan’s favorite sounds: music from the Caribbean. Kids will also get to sing many classics, remixed to cool rhythms! Come join Ivan at Culture and grab a coffee, muffin, and the world’s best yogurt! Thursdays at 10:00 AM.
DROP-IN ART AND STORYTELLING AT STORIES BOOKSHOP AND STORYTELLING LAB, Park Slope/Prospect Heights.
Come make things with us! Bring your little ones for an art project inspired by one of our favorite picture books. The story and project change each week, and throughout the year we’ll explore a range of subjects, styles and materials. Each session begins with a reading. No need to sign up in advance, but come early as spots tend to fill up! Tuesdays at 4:00 PM.
