Caribbean Holiday House Party, Bric House, Downtown Brooklyn
On Saturday, December 12, come out for this free holiday party with family dance classes, gaming, art making, and other participatory activities; plus a special BIG event! RSVP here.

“Walk the Windows,” Atlantic Avenue, Boerum Hill.
On Saturday, December 12, from 11 AM – 7 PM, celebrate the holidays on Atlantic Avenue with their “Walk the Windows” event. Come enjoy festive holiday windows, special events, live music, free holiday treats, and Santa.

Jingle Bell Jamboree, Congregation Beth Israel, Park Slope
On Saturday, December 12, kids of all ages will enjoy the Jingle Bell Jamboree — a family holiday concert event and singalong. This festive celebration takes place at Congregation Beth Elohim in Park Slope at 7PM.

Jingle All the Way, Dodge YMCA, Downtown Brooklyn
On Saturday, December 12, from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM, there will be a bounce castle, a visit with Santa, and games for children of all ages at your local YMCA. Velcro wall, cotton candy, and more!

Holiday Photos with Santa, The Old Stone House, Park Slope
On Saturday, December 12, kids of all ages are invited to take holiday photos with Santa!
Photographer Andreea B. Ballen will be on hand to take photographs, there will be storybook characters to greet you, and cocoa and crafts to keep you occupied while waiting for your moment upstairs at the Old Stone House’s beautiful Dutch tiled fireplace. The activity is from 10 am – 12:30 pm and the cost is $10 per family entry fee. In addition, please bring non-perishable items for the Food Pantry at CHIPS.

Chanukah Art Festival, Jewish Children’s Museum, Crown Heights.
On Sunday, December 13, celebrate the Chanukah Art Festival at the Jewish Children’s Museum. Activities include a Grand Menorah Lighting, an olive oil workshop, and a donut decorating. Festivities will go from 11AM – 4PM for children of all ages.

The Family Sing-a-long with Emily Eagen, Jalopy Theatre, Red Hook/Carroll Gardens
On Sunday, December 13, Emily Eagen hosts an all-ages sing-a-long. Grown-ups who love to sing can come together and harmonize, while kids learn these songs and sing along. Families leave with songs they can keep singing together. The show starts at 11:00 and the cost is $5 for kids, $10 for Adults, and $25 for a family of four.

Chanukah Celebration, Kings Bay Y, Windsor Terrace
On Sunday, December 13th, join the Kings Bay Y for music, storytelling, sing-along, arts & crafts and raffles. This free activity takes place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at 1224 Prospect Avenue (corner Vanderbilt Street) and is great for kids of all ages. Click here to RSVP.

Greencycle Holiday Swap, Greenpoint Public Library, Greenpoint
Check out the Greencycle Holiday Swap on Saturday, December 12, from 1-4 PM. Bring some! Take some! One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Let’s recycle, reuse and reduce! MEN’S, WOMEN’S & CHILDREN’S CLOTHING, SHOES, BOOKS, TOYS, BICYCLES, PHONES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS & ELECTRONICS. We will accept electronics until 3 PM. Cleaned, gently used and working items please. No need to bring anything to take items. However, out of consideration for others, we may limit folks to the greater of 1 bag or the number of bags that you have brought to donate to the swap. All remaining items will be donated to local schools, churches, Goodwill and/or Vietnam Vets of America. $5 suggested donation.The swap is held at The Greenpoint Public Library, 107 Norman Avenue at Leonard Street corner.
