SkipKid Weekend Roundup: March 5-6
From a puppet show to musical performances, there is something for everyone this weekend. Have fun and please continue to help SkipKid grow by telling your friends about us!

Saturday Cinema Club for Kids, Industry City, Sunset Park. Head over to Industry City for a morning of fun with BRIC Arts (and a craft for the kids)! Then enjoy a free screening of Shaun the Sheep Movie and a pop up market featuring local food and artisanal vendors.

Alice in Wonderland, Puppetworks, Park Slope. Lewis Carroll’s English Adventure with an Original Song Score adapted for Marionettes by Adam Kilgour & Nicolas Coppola.

Songs For Unsual Creatures, Barbes, Park Slope. Author and composer Michael Hearst, along with his five-piece band, gives a highly-geeky A/V presentation of some of the most bizarre animals that roam the planet. Imagine the Australian bilby, the deep-sea magnapinna squid, the microscopic tardigrade, and more brought to life with song. All this while the grownups sip beer. Fun!

Little Laffs Family Variety Show, Jalopy Theatre, Carroll Gardens. Little Laffs, “Big Fun for Little Ones” is a fun and entertaining variety show for kids that mixes juggling, balloon art, music, comedy, and more.

Story Time with Steve Light, Powerhouse on 8th., Park Slope. Steve Light presents two exciting titles, one about a young scallywag setting out to sea, and another about a bunny family finding the perfect home to settle down in.

LEGENDS Circus, Barclays Center, Prospect Heights. Ringling Bros. presents majestic animals, exotic performers from faraway lands, and fearless daredevils that take danger to unheard of levels.
