Park Slope Holiday Tree Lighting, Park Slope.

On Saturday, November 28, at 6:30 PM, celebrate the start of the holiday season with live Music from Rolie Polie Guacamole and Amelia Robinson from Mils Trills, treats from Du Jour Bakery, The Chocolate Room and Le Pain Quotidien, opera from 15 year old Sarah Stevens and Carolers Opera on Tap, arts and Crafts with Puppetry Arts and Prospect Park YMCA. AND a Lighting Show! This free event is perfect for kids of all ages and will take place Corner of 4th Street and 5th Avenue. Bring your gently used coats to donate to the NY Cares Winter Coat Drive 2015, and don’t forget Santa will be there too!!!

Bargemusic Family Concert, Fulton Ferry Landing, Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo, Brooklyn.
On Saturday, November 28, enjoy the beloved floating concert hall at Fulton Ferry Landing, near Brooklyn Bridge Park. The last free family concert of the season is Saturday, November 28 at 4 o’clock. “Music in Motion” is a one-hour performance, including a Q & A with the musicians, appropriate for all ages. Doors open fifteen minutes prior to the concert and there is no reserved seating.

Little Feet Wise Heart Yoga, Second Annual Post-Thanksgiving Family Yoga Classes, Ditmas Park and Carroll Gardens.
Family in town? Continue the holiday focus on family togetherness and fun with an all-ages yoga class! Little Feet Wise Heart Yoga is offering TWO family yoga classes this year! Join us on Friday, November 28th, 10:30am at LARK in Ditmas Park or Saturday, November 29th, 10:30am at KIDVILLE/Carroll Gardens. For grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins! We’ll be jumping on the parachute, dancing to music, working off pie & sides as we balance in tree pose, catch bubble and ring bells! The cost is $25 for 1 adult and child, $5 each additional adult or child. Spaces are limited so register now!

Winter On A Flatbush Farm, Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

On Sunday, November 29, get ready for winter as they did in the 19th century farming village of Flatbush. Learn how to make a candle, watch a master spinster spin wool thread, and enjoy Dutch treats made at our outdoor hearth from a Lefferts family recipe. This activity goes from 1 – 3PM with a special visit from St. Nicholas at 3 pm. $3 suggested donation
