“PETER & THE WOLF”: LOST IN THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM, Prospect Heights.
On Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22, The Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra will perform Prokofiev’s classic “Peter and the Wolf,” with narration that weaves in paintings at the Brooklyn Museum and special appearance that will delight kids of all ages. Performances take place at 3pm. Tickets cost $20 — children under the age of 4 are free. The Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn, NY 11238.

On Saturday, November 21, Free Family Art Day is coming to The Park Slope Library. This activity provides opportunities for families with children of all ages to play, imagine, and explore through a variety of different art forms. From 10 – 11:30 AM, storytellers will present crafts, songs, stories, and creative play around a theme. The event is free.
Royal Wee Event, Greenpoint Library, Greenpoint.
Hear ye, hear ye! Your presence is royally requested to a benefit in honor of Greenpoint Library on Saturday, November 21! The Royal Wee Event is brought to you by the Friends of Greenpoint Library and will include royal-themed activities for your little princes and princesses. The event takes place from 12 – 4 PM. There will be a bake sale, arts & crafts, a story time, castle building with LEGOs, a photo booth, some very special guests and more surprises as well. So bring the whole family for some seriously regal fun and help raise money for Greenpoint Library in the process!

Santa is in Brooklyn at Items of Interest! Come see the best Santa in town to make your child’s holiday wishes come true in an intimate small shop setting. Santa arrives November 20th and will be hearing Christmas wishes through December 23rd. We start the week before Thanksgiving so you will have your photos ready for holiday cards. Schedule your appointment online here. Each appointment lasts approximately 10 minutes, the cost is $15 and we will email you lots of digital images. On Saturday, November 21, New York author and illustrator Colter Jackson presents her charming new picture book Elephants Make Fine Friends with an interactive reading for kids ages 3-8.
